Howard M. Levin, MD

Dr. Howard Levin, an Erie native, has been in practice in the Erie Region since 1985. During his tenure, he has been elected Chief of the division of Ophthalmology at St. Vincent Health Center and St. Vincent Surgery Center for multiple years.
Dr. Levin received his Bachelor of Science from Gannon University and received his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College in 1981. Dr. Levin performed a four-year residency in ophthalmology at Pittsburgh’s Saint Francis General Hospital from 1981-1985; where he was selected chief ophthalmology resident. Dr. Levin is an active member of the Academy of Ophthalmology, the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
As a leader in ophthalmology in the Erie area, Dr. Levin was one of the first surgeons to introduce small incision cataract surgery including premium intraocular lenses to correct presbyopia and astigmatism. Cleveland Clinic Department of Ophthalmology granted Dr. Levin privileges to perform PRK and LASIK at the Cole Eye Institute in Cleveland, where he helped pioneer the development of this wonderful technology. He continues to perform multiple cataract, PRK and LASIK surgeries with the latest technological advances at the Allegheny Health Network St. Vincent Surgery Center.
Vincent M. Imbrogno, DO

Dr. Vincent Imbrogno earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Pittsburgh, Magna Cum Laude in 2004. He earned his Doctorate in 2009 and graduated 4th in his class at LECOM. His internship and residency were at State University of New York at Buffalo, 2009-2014.
Dr. Imbrogno is a board certified ophthalmologist. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, American Osteopathic Association and Sigma Sigma Phi Osteopathic National Honors Society. He is a cornea trained fellow who performs cataract surgery, cornea transplantation, anterior segment surgeries as well as refractive laser procedures. Dr. Imbrogno has done research and published some papers.
He completed a corneal and external disease fellowship at SUNY UB specializing in corneal transplantation and refractive surgery.
He is a general ophthalmologist who specializes in the cornea as well as refractive surgery.
Ravinder Sabherwal, OD

Dr. Ravinder Sabherwal specializes in primary care optometry, which includes the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, ocular infections, diabetic eye exams and refractive disorders. He also specializes in the fitting of contact lenses for patients with keratoconus and other corneal disorders.
Dr. Sabherwal has been practicing in Erie for the past 25 years. He received his Bachelor of Science in 1982 from Mercyhurst College and his Doctor of Optometry in 1986 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Emily Washek, DO

Dr. Emily Washek was born and raised in Erie, PA. She earned her Bachelor of Arts at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, OH and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University-AZCOM in Phoenix, AZ in 2015. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, OK from 2015-2019 where she served as chief resident. Dr. Washek continued on to complete a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY from 2019-2020.
Dr. Washek is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Cornea Society, and the American Osteopathic Academy of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology.
In her free time she enjoys traveling, hiking, boating, fishing, and anything outdoors with her husband and dogs.

We personally answer each phone call during normal business hours. The doctors are available after hours by listening to the prompts upon calling the office.
